Description

Story: A young man wakes up to find himself as a very young riolu. He woke up in a pokemon center, which was helping him recover from a wound his body had acquired. Now in a new world, and a new body, he tries to find out what happened to him, where his family is, and to live the life he has now been forced into.

All right so I worked all night on the cover. I think this might be one of my best pieces in general, and I am very happy to how this came out. On the off chance you want to know what this comic is about go ahead and click the link to head on to the first page! Hope you enjoy! (Note my art got better right after the first page, so pls dont judge on that one alone XDDD)

Hi! I'm coming at you from  ProjectComment!

What stands out to me about this is that has a very 'fun' feeling to it. It matches the action-filled style the pokemon anime postures. For example, the flipped pose the lucario is in. He looks like a master ninja showing off in front of a student. This also lead the eye around to the riolu, the star in the center- very nice composition trick! I also like how riolu's eyes really pop with their redness. One thing you could work on in the future is the 'aura' surrounding the pokemon. Here, it looks over-done. I think it may be because you kept the opacity of that layer (if you use layers) on 100% instead of lowering it. You could hollow out the centers with a soft eraser so that the edges are there but the pokemon is clear. If you have layers, like in Gimp and Photoshop, you can also change the blending mode to color dodge or overlay to produce some really cool glowing. This will enhance, rather than obscure the pokemon.
